Ben Pankhurst,
is the man, the mastermind and founder of Willow Bend Coffee who started this local gem after noticing a gap in the Adelaide’s coffee market. Before opening Willow Bend Coffee, my wife and I would always go out for coffee and nearly every time we felt disappointed by hardly being able to taste the coffee flavour through the milk in our piccolo.
This hole in the market gave me the leverage to start Willow Bend Coffee, bringing arange of coffee blends to the table that are smooth to drink as a black, yet still strong enough to taste through milk.
We now feel so humbled to have accumulated such a loyal fan-base of caffeine enthusiasts, who swear by our product, dubbing it the ‘best coffee in Adelaide!’.

Discovered this coffee hideout on bike rides along rail corridor. Both Godfather and Matriarch are without a doubt my go to. I usually purchase alternatively. As I side issue my problem with watery pucks has gone compared to a competitors brand. I spent countless hours altering pressures tamping etc nothing helped. Changed to Willow bend problem solvered. So great control of bean quality and the roasting process. As for the taste either double espresso or latte for the wife they are second to none.

Great coffee, even better when freshly ground. I originally purchased this ground for my moka pot and was immediately hooked to its strong dark roast flavours ideal for my daily espresso. I had recently purchased a Bialetti manual coffee grinder so decided to purchase my next order not ground. What a game changer. Great dark roast chocolate flavours, beautiful aroma, best espressocoffe hands down. Great service from Willow Bend and even better coffee.

What can I say. The Godfather beans are amazing. Rich and full bodied with no bitterness. 19.6 grams in a 3 cup Moka pot. Best coffee ever. I do Recommend these beans 🫘

I’m weaning off caffeine in my senior years which feels much better. And I couldn’t do it without WillowBend’s decaf. Tastes like a full bodied coffee but without the caffeine. Honestly can’t tell the difference and one cup goes down very quickly. Thus this picture… too good not to drink up quick! Didn’t have time for the before photo… sorry 😂
